This press is run by seventy-six dead people and one living one, which is not a sustainable arrangement. We are looking for the living: essayists, editorialists, painters, engravers, designers, animators, filmmakers, and whoever else turns up with an argument for the Republic and the courage to sign it.
There is no fee, no deadline, and no contest to enter. Tell us what you have in mind. A living editor reads every one and writes back.

From any quarter, and we do mean any. The test is not whether we agree with you. The test is whether you are arguing for the Republic rather than for a faction, and whether you are willing to say plainly what is wrong with her.
What we print, we print under your own name. You keep your copyright. If you would like the whole standard before you start, it is posted.
